Employee Training
HIPAA mandates that all your current and future healthcare administration employees must be trained in the HIPAA law and your HIPAA procedures. It also requires retraining in case of a change in employee class or job.
HIPAAps.com provides an excellent tool to make this task much easier. Available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, the training module can be accessed from home or work. Simply set up the each of your employees and provide them the access information.
Each section has a quiz specific to that section. And there is a final test at the end on the entire training module. When passed, the employee can print off a completion certificate. If the employee has difficulty with a section, the training module provides for retaking that section only.
You can also do reports and view results of the training for each employee or
for all employees. The training module provides a tool to print training reports for inclusion in your HIPAA Privacy Manual.
The training module will automatically update to include any future changes you make to your HIPAA procedures. We will also include any future changes or clarifications in the HIPAA law.
Employee HIPAA training is important now and in the future. Regardless of your HIPAA policies and procedures, if your employees do not respect them, your practice could be out of compliance. We recommend annual retraining of each employee to stress the importance of HIPAA compliance.
